Two of the same large MPV in a single day says something simple about the work: handling these gearboxes is ordinary practice for our crew, not an experiment. Each transmission was lowered out from underneath the vehicle on the lift and carried across to our steel tear-down bench. The casing was split open to show the gear train and the differential. Alongside, the valve body was stripped down, every spring and small part laid out in order across the bench for cleaning and inspection.
